Nate Ricci was born during a rare planetary disalignment -- no two planets were on the same line. Thousands of geometers took their own lives in consternation. There are legends that he had some sort of youth, although most think he emerged fully formed from the head of a DEC Alpha sometime in 1999. He has neither creed nor religion, although he did worship a rock for most of 2002. Whether under the direction of the rock or not is uncertain, but he seems to have spent some time studying Computer Science. Later on, he was abducted by a group of crazed astrophysicists with whom he helped crash space probes. Then he became involved in computational biology and is currently trying to unravel several mysteries about silk proteins, with the long range goal of becoming Spider-Man.
